Join us at Seal Rocks for a day dedicated to Grey Nurse Shark conservation. ๐ฆ
We'll be bringing together divers, photographers and ocean enthusiasts to help document one of Australia's most vulnerable shark species.
We'll be showcasing how NeuralFin works, including a live demonstration of the photo-identification process used to recognise individual Grey Nurse Sharks. See how your images can contribute to ongoing monitoring efforts! ๐ฌ
๐ธ Learn how to capture images that are actually useful for citizen science.
Prior to our dive, we'll cover simple techniques and best practices to help you take clear identification photos that can be used for research.
Whether you're an experienced diver, underwater photographer or simply curious about citizen science, this day is an opportunity to learn, connect and get involved.
We'll also share the outcomes from the day once the images and data have been analysed through Shark ID AI, giving participants an opportunity to see how their contributions fit into the bigger picture of Grey Nurse Shark monitoring and conservation.
